I took a required course for my major this semester, Conceptual Art for Animation. It was way too short for the content and incredibly stressful, but it's over now, and I like to think I learned a lot, especially about drawing the human form (though you wouldn't know it looking at Oriance's right leg :< ). Hopefully I'll have more sketches and/or lineart up here soon.
Most of my "work" is a modification of existing work of some sort. My main artistic "talent", if you can call it that, is creating a full-page version of a much smaller drawing - such as my old sketchbook, most of which consists of full-page versions of the inch-square monster illustrations in the Dragon Warrior Monsters 2 strategy guide. Perhaps not the most incredible material, either at the beginning or my end, but it's a start. Now we just have to hope I remember to make a decent finish somewhere...
